Update:
Today, the Ontario Ministry of Education announced that all schools in York, Peel, Toronto, Hamilton and Windsor-Essex will remain closed to in-person learning until February 10, 2021. As a result, all York Catholic elementary schools will remain closed and students will continue to participate in online remote learning during this time.
The government is further deferring the return to in-person learning in elementary and secondary schools to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, after releasing new modelling numbers earlier today that predict significant increases in daily case counts and community transmission rates.
- All elementary and secondary schools will be closed to students until February 10, 2021.
- All students will participate in online learning during this time.
- Schools are expected to reopen to students for in-person learning on February 10, 2021.
- Before and after care programs will not operate while schools are closed to students.
- For child care programs, please check with your child care provider.
