In Recognition of World Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month and World Autism Awareness Day in the month of April, at OLR, our Eagles from JK to gr. 8 wrote and posted statements of strength, sending their positive energy and respect for the diverse gifts of all people with Autism!

Our STREAM knowledgeable teacher-librarian, Ms. Puopolo intrigues our kindergartners and first graders with Sphero indi, as our youngest learners try their hand at some basic coding and problem solving with this little robot!

This is a global day that is dedicated to elevating awareness and celebrating the “differences and the ABILITIES of people with Down syndrome” in our school community.
