OLR Virtual Family Math Nights-March 23, 24, 2021 @ 6:30-7:30 pm

Dear OLR Parent(s)/Guardian(s):

Please note that Our Lady of the Rosary CES cordially invites OLR families to the following two age/grade specific upcoming Parent Engagement events funded by the Parents Reaching Out Grant.

Both nights have as their aim:

• To provide a safe and welcoming virtual environment
• To respect parents as valued partners within the education system in relation to decisions about their child’s education
• Parents will have increased awareness of school activities and initiatives
• Parents will be more involved in their local school environment and child’s education.
• Parents will have increased confidence in public education.

These sessions have been developed to serve as interactive nights of math-based activities for parents and their children. In these sessions, participants will
play a number of games aimed at generating enthusiasm for practicing foundational math skills, as well as,  developing important problem-solving skills through curriculum-based exploration and real-life puzzle play.

1) The Virtual Family Math Night event for JK/SK to Grade 3 will take place on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Access to this session will be via Google Meet on a first come first serve basis. Families can also join and view the session through our livestream.
